Pour the gravy mixture evenly over the chicken in the Crockpot.
Step 3: Slow Cook
Cover the Crockpot and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender. The internal temperature of the chicken should reach 165°F (74°C).
Step 4: Shred and Serve
Once the chicken is cooked, shred it using two forks directly in the Crockpot, stirring the chicken into the gravy.
Taste the gravy and adjust the seasoning with more salt or pepper if needed.
Step 5: Serve
Serve the shredded chicken and gravy over mashed potatoes, rice, noodles, or with a side of vegetables. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley for a pop of color and extra flavor.
