A Classic Italian Dish with a Fresh Twist
Shrimp scampi linguine is a classic Italian dish that has been enjoyed for decades. It’s a simple and delicious meal that can be made in under 30 minutes. The dish typically consists of linguine pasta, shrimp, and a buttery garlic sauce. In this recipe, we’re adding a fresh twist by including asparagus, which adds a great crunch and a burst of color to the dish.
Ingredients You’ll Need
- Linguine pasta
- Shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- Asparagus (trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces)
- Garlic (minced)
- Lemon juice
- White wine
- Butter
- Salt
- Pepper
- Parmesan cheese (grated)
- Parsley (chopped)
Instructions for Making the Dish
- Cook the linguine according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
