For extra flavor in the mashed potatoes, you can add minced garlic or herbs.
If you prefer a crispier top for the mashed potatoes, place them under the broiler for a few minutes.
Storage
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
The pork can be frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat thoroughly before serving.
Mashed potatoes can also be frozen. Reheat in the microwave or on the stovetop, adding a bit more milk if needed to restore creaminess.
