Make the Cheesecake Layer:
In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Drop spoonfuls of this mixture over the strawberry layer—no need to spread it, as it will melt into the cake while baking.
Add the Cake Mix:
Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the mixture. Do not stir—just let the cake mix cover everything.
Pour the Butter:
Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the dry cake mix. Again, don’t mix—just let it sit on top.
