Ingredients
– 1 sleeve Ritz Crackers, crushed (about 30 crackers)
– 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces)
– 1/4 butter
– 1/4 brown sugar
– Optional: chocolate chips, chopped nuts, or dried fruit for mix-ins or toppings
Preparation
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
2. In a saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk, brown sugar, and butter with mix-ins, stirring until well mixed for 5 mins. This will create a thick batter-like consistency. Reduce to low heat.
3. Using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, drop dollops of the mixture on Ritz cracker and place cookie on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each for slight spreading.
4. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
5. Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely. They will firm up as they cool.
