Method:
- Prepare the Ingredients:
- Ensure the strawberries are frozen. If using fresh strawberries, wash, hull, and freeze them for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Gather the pineapple juice and yogurt.
- Blend the Ingredients:
- In a high-powered blender or food processor, combine the frozen strawberries, pineapple juice, yogurt, and honey or agave syrup (if using).
- Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed. This may take a few minutes, and you may need to use a tamper or stop to stir occasionally to ensure all the ingredients are well blended.
- Achieve the Perfect Consistency:
- If the mixture is too thick, add a little more pineapple juice, one tablespoon at a time, until you reach the desired consistency. The Dole Whip should be thick and creamy but smooth enough to pipe or scoop.
- Serve Immediately:
- For the classic Dole Whip swirl, transfer the mixture to a piping bag fitted with a star tip and pipe it into cups or bowls.
- Alternatively, you can scoop the mixture directly into serving dishes.
- Garnish and Enjoy:
- Garnish with fresh strawberries and mint leaves for an added touch of freshness and color.
- Serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.
