7th Step:

8th Step:
Once the dumplings are cooked, stir the mixture gradually to slightly thicken the broth. The dumplings will absorb a portion of the liquid, resulting in a creamy texture. Adjust the broth’s seasoning with salt and pepper as necessary.
9th Step:
Serve the homemade chicken and dumplings from the slow cooker steaming. Place the chicken, veggies, dumplings, and broth in individual bowls, making sure that each dish has a good portion of each component.
