PREPARATION:
1st Step
To begin, you need to set the temperature of your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
2nd Step
Mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, chopped onion, diced green bell pepper, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried thyme together in a large mixing basin. You may use your hands or a fork to stir the ingredients together in a gentle manner until they are completely incorporated. Be careful not to overmix the meatloaf, since doing so might result in a thick texture.
3rd Step
Form the meat mixture into a loaf either on a baking sheet or in a baking dish, making sure that it is tightly packed and equally distributed throughout the loaf. It is important to leave some room around the sides of the dish to ensure that the food cooks evenly.
4th Step
Spread the ketchup over the top of the meatloaf, creating a generous glaze that will enhance both the flavor and appearance of the dish.
