Step 2: Make the Mascarpone Filling

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  3. Gently fold whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
  4. Fold in the prepared pistachio cream until fully combined.

Step 3: Assemble the Tiramisu

  1. In a shallow dish, mix brewed coffee with coffee liqueur (if using).
  2. Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture for 2-3 seconds and layer them in the baking dish.
  3. Spread half of the mascarpone-pistachio mixture over the soaked ladyfingers.
  4. Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone-pistachio mixture.
  5. Smooth the top with a spatula and sprinkle with chopped pistachios.

Step 4: Chill and Serve

  1. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (preferably overnight) to allow flavors to meld.
  2. Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder.
  3. Slice and enjoy!
