Equipment:
- 9-inch pie dish or tart pan
- Mixing bowls (large and medium)
- Electric mixer or stand mixer
- Rubber spatula or spoon for mixing
- Measuring cups and spoons
- Plastic wrap (for chilling)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Oreo Crust:
- Start by crushing the Oreos into fine crumbs. You can do this by placing the cookies in a food processor or using a rolling pin to crush them in a plastic bag. The finer the crumbs, the better the crust will hold together.
- In a medium bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs, melted butter, and optional granulated sugar. Stir until the mixture is evenly moistened and the crumbs stick together when pressed.
After tasting this, I’m never having potatoes any other way again!
