Once you’ve finished showering, pull the curtain so that it can’t create mold between its folds.
Clean the bathroom regularly, at least once a week. Don’t forget to wash the walls, the curtain and, if applicable, the carpet(s). Bleach prevents mold from growing, so it’s very useful in this case.
Paint the walls with semi-gloss, anti-mold acrylic paint
Install an electric dehumidifier
Instructions for removing mold
Put a little detergent on a sponge and wash the section of the wall with mold.
Rinse thoroughly with cold water and dry with an old rag.
Prepare a solution of water and bleach (one part water and three parts bleach).
Using a brush, apply the mixture to the area affected by mold.
Finally, rinse and dry thoroughly.
Warnings
· To remove mold, use safety glasses, gloves and a mask to avoid contact with the spores and we also recommend opening the windows or turning on the fan while cleaning.
