Instructions
Preheat oven:
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mashed banana:
In a large bowl, mash the ripe banana until smooth.
Combine wet ingredients:
Add the maple syrup and egg (or egg substitute) to the mashed banana. Mix well until combined.
Add Dry Ingredients:
Stir in oats and cinnamon. Mix until well combined.
Add Chocolate:
Stir in chopped unsweetened chocolate.
Form Cookies:
Using a spoon, scoop out pieces of dough and place on the prepared baking sheet. Flatten each cookie slightly with the back of the spoon. Decorate each cookie with cherries.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown around the edges.
This is the only cake I’ll eat during Christmas time! It’s that good and easy!
