1. Frequent washing
Washing bed linen regularly is essential to reduce the presence of dust mites. It is advisable to wash sheets, pillowcases and blankets at least once a week in hot water (at least 60°C). The high temperature kills dust mites and eliminates allergens.
2. Use anti-mite mattress toppers and pillowcases
Investing in anti-dust mite mattress toppers and pillowcases can be very beneficial. These products are designed to prevent dust mites from entering and proliferating in mattresses and pillows. Be sure to wash them regularly according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
