The effectiveness of this method is mainly due to the static electricity generated by the plastic itself when it is rubbed on the floor. By rubbing the plastic of the broom with the floor, it attracts any particles present on the floor (dust, food remains or lint).
This way the bag will attract any dirt particles that might be left on the surface. To prevent the dust from spreading again, the last step is to open the bag, turn it inside out and throw it in the trash.

With this simple method it is easier to attract hair, dander and other particles that end up on the floor of the house, saving the cost of electric brooms, very common nowadays, or using the vacuum cleaner , which costs electricity or battery
