Clean and dry the potatoes. Remove any eyes or imperfections. With a fork, poke holes all around each potato.
Lightly coat each potato with olive oil and sprinkle with salt to your preference.
Tightly wrap each potato in aluminum foil and place them in the slow cooker.
Set the cooker on low and cook for 7-8 hours. Alternatively, if you’re in a bit of a hurry, cook on high for 4-5 hours.
When they’re soft and ready, serve and garnish to your heart’s content – think cheese, sour cream, and crispy bacon.
