- Layer the Potatoes:
- Arrange a layer of potato slices in the bottom of the prepared baking dish, slightly overlapping each other.
- Season the layer with a pinch of salt, pepper, and a sprinkle of dried thyme.
- Sprinkle a portion of the minced garlic over the potatoes.
- Add a layer of shredded cheese on top of the potatoes.
