Add 1/4 tablespoon of baking soda to a spray bottle of water and shake until dissolved. Spray the baking soda and water solution on the moldy sofa area, then use a scrub brush to remove the mold on the surface. Next, wipe with a clean cloth dipped in water to remove dirt and baking soda. Finally, adding a few drops of essential oil will help the chair have a pleasant scent. This will kill any remaining mold and help prevent it from returning.
To remove old black mold, mix two parts baking soda with one part white vinegar and one part water. Stir the mixture until it becomes a thick mixture. Spread your mixture evenly over the surface and let it dry. Scrub away mold and black stains, then wipe clean with water.
3.Remove sofa mold stains with fresh lemon
Lemon is a natural deodorant, disinfectant, bleach, stain remover and cleaning agent. They can also remove black mold. The high acid concentration in lemons will break down mold, making it easier to remove. Along with that is a wonderful fragrance after cleaning.
Use the juice of 3 to 5 lemons to pour on the moldy area. Let it sit for five minutes and then wipe the surface clean with a damp cloth. You can reapply and scrub the surface to remove stubborn mold stains.
