
Over the weekend, a tragic accident claimed the lives of Richard David Hendrickson and his 16-year-old daughter Sally. The Utah Highway Patrol reported that the incident occurred at 12:49 p.m. on Saturday in Ogden Canyon. Hendrickson, the CEO and president of Lifetime Products, an outdoor furniture company, and his daughter were killed when a bulldozer fell off a tow truck and landed on their pickup truck.
The accident happened as the tow vehicle, towing a small bulldozer, navigated a sharp right-hand curve. The bulldozer broke loose and slid into Hendrickson’s GMC pickup. Both Hendrickson and Sally were declared deceased at the scene, while two other adult passengers sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Lifetime Products honored Hendrickson, describing him as more than just a company leader. They highlighted his diverse talents, legendary mechanical aptitude, and exceptional ability to connect with people.
