*For a spicier kick, leave some or all of the seeds and stems from the jalapenos. If your jalapenos are milder, enhance the heat with a few pinches of cayenne.
If you appreciate the essence of cumin, incorporate a couple of pinches for a smoky flavor.
To sweeten the salsa, add more honey; omit it if you prefer a less sweet taste. The recipe is adaptable and works well in various preparations.

Not a fan of onion in your salsa? No problem, but if you enjoy it, feel free to add 2-3 tablespoons of chopped red onion.
