INSTRUCTIONS:
1 – Peel and smash five garlic cloves to unleash their powerful oils.
2 – Fill a big saucepan halfway with water.
3 – To the saucepan of water, add the smashed garlic.
4 – Bring the water to a boil and then reduce to a low heat for 20-30 minutes.
As the garlic boils, its aromatic compounds will permeate the air, creating a natural barrier against insects and lizards. Allow the solution to cool before transferring it to a spray bottle for easy application.
Application and Benefits:
Spray the garlic-infused water around entry points, windows, doors, and areas where pests are commonly found. The lingering garlic scent will deter insects and lizards, making them less likely to invade your living space. This natural repellent is particularly effective against mosquitoes, ants, spiders, and other common household pests.
One of the significant advantages of using garlic as an insect repellent is its non-toxic nature. It poses no harm to pets, children, or the environment, making it a safe and sustainable choice for pest control. Additionally, garlic’s repellent properties can last for several days, providing a long-lasting solution to keep your home insect-free.
