1 – DISINFECT WITH WHITE VINEGAR

When cleaning your toilets, consider using a disinfectant product that will help get rid of all the germs that colonize your toilets. Generally, it is these microbes that are responsible for the development of bad odors in urine and the use of a simple detergent may not be enough to eliminate them.

If you can choose a commercial household disinfectant product, know that white vinegar is just as effective. Descaling, descaling and disinfectant, white vinegar is also a natural and economical product that allows you to deodorize everything effectively! And if vinegar isn’t enough, you can add baking soda for added anti-odor action!

2 – PLACE A POTpourri

As a decorative object made of fragrant dried plants, potpourri helps combat unwanted odors. To make one at home, put a few dried herbs and plants of your choice in a glass container and flavor them with a few drops of essential oil. By placing the potpourri next to a heat source or in a sunny corner, the scent will diffuse more easily.

3 – DEODORIZE THE TOILETS WITH LEMON JUICE

Another homemade recipe to eliminate odors in the toilet is as follows:

• Heat half a cup of fresh lemon juice.
• Then add 3 tablespoons of baking soda.
• Pour everything into the bowl, and leave to act for 15 minutes.
• Then, add hot water to the bowl, and flush the toilet to rinse.

4 – BORAX FOR INTERNAL WALLS

The inside walls of your toilet should be cleaned well to help eliminate the smell of urine.

Proceed as follows:

In a container mix the following ingredients:

• A glass of borax.
• A glass of white vinegar.
• 10 drops of lavender essential oil.
• A few drops of lemon essential oil.
• Pour this mixture directly into the bowl.
• Leave on all night.
• The next day flush the toilet.

There you have it, the inside of your toilet is clean and without the smell of urine.

You will notice the disappearance of the halos in the floating water at the bottom of your toilet.

5 – USE CLOVES

Ingredients 

• 1 bottle containing 1 liter of water.
• 10 cloves.
• A few drops of peppermint essential oil.
• 5 tablespoons of baking soda

Instructions

1. Start by diluting the baking soda in the water bottle then add the cloves and essential oil.
2. Mix everything and place the opened bottle in your toilet to eliminate any bad odor.
