Ingredients

• Two cups of flour (all purpose)
• A smidgeon of baking powder
• One tsp baking soda
• Half a teaspoon of salt
• Half a cup of softened unsalted butter
• 1 cup of sugar, granulated
• Two big eggs
• One tsp vanilla essence
• Four ripe bananas, around 1 1/2 cups mashed
• Half a cup of sour cream or plain yogurt (or buttermilk)

Optional Add-ins:

• 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
• 1/2 cup chocolate chips
