4th Step
Set the slow cooker to low heat and allow it to operate for 3 to 4 hours. The low and slow cooking method ensures that the chicken becomes extremely tender and incorporates the teriyaki sauce’s flavor.
5th Step
In a small basin, combine cornstarch and tepid water until a uniform slurry is formed. Pour this mixture into the slow cooker and blend it in gently. This phase produces a delectable consistency in the teriyaki sauce.
6th Step
Allow the chicken to continue simmering on low heat for an additional 30 to 1 hour. This ensures that the marinade reaches its maximum flavor potential and gorgeously coats the chicken.
7th Step
Sprinkle chicken teriyaki with finely minced green scallions just before serving. This imparts a fragrant, fresh flavor to the entrée.
