Directions:
Step 1
To begin the recipe, start by cutting each potato in half, and then place them in a large pot. Make sure to cover the potatoes with approximately 1 inch of water.
Step 2
Next, add 2 teaspoons of salt to the pot with the potatoes and bring it to a simmer. Allow the potatoes to simmer for about 20 minutes, or until they are fork-tender all the way through. Once they may be done, make sure to empty them well.
Step 3
After draining, allow the potatoes to cool, and then proceed to peel and discard the skins.
Step 4
Next, take a large bowl and transfer the potatoes into it.
