Yes, you could add almost anything you would like to. You could also top the pie in different manners or leave it plain if you choose.

Is Jell-O the same as gelatin?
Not really, Jell-O is a powdered gelatin product. Strawberry gelatin is made from actual strawberries. Although there may be a slight difference in the texture, either one can be used to make a Strawberry Pie.

Ingredients:

Pie crust

Sugar
Cornstarch
Water
Strawberry jelly
Strawberries

How To Make Big Boy Fresh Strawberry Pie:
Step 1. Bake frozen pie crust according to the directions on the package. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 30 minutes.

Step 2. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan over medium heat, whisk together sugar, cornstarch, and water.
