Sodium bicarbonate . It is very useful for absorbing moisture. Pour two tablespoons of baking soda into a bottle filled with warm water and spray directly on the mold stains. Use a toothbrush to scrub away stains and then rinse.
vinegar . Unlike baking soda, it is best to apply it directly to the mold and without diluting it so that it does not lose its acid concentration. Let the vinegar sit for a few minutes, then use a toothbrush to scrub vigorously until all traces of mold are removed.
Boric acid . Also known as borax, it is a powder capable of eliminating bad odors and having a powerful antifungal action. The correct ratio to get rid of mold is one cup of borax to every gallon of water. Apply directly to the mold and let it sit for a few minutes. Remember to wear gloves and a mask and keep windows open when using borax.
I don’t use vinegar at all anymore: I pour homemade limescale remover into the washing machine for a few cents – the limescale and all the dirt is gone!
